Nala

Nala is a medium-energy Pit Bull Mix looking for a patient adopter who will help her navigate the world at her own pace. She may be nervous during initial handling and is currently head-shy, but she warms up relatively quickly once trust is established. With slow introductions and a gentle, consistent approach, Nala offers lots of affection and is sure to blossom into a loyal companion.

Ideal Home

Nala has had very little prior socialization and can be startled by fast movements. She would thrive in a quiet environment with someone who can give her time, patience, and confidence-building support. Her compatibility with other dogs is not yet known, and she currently shows little interest in toys.

Ongoing Health

Nala weighs 43.6 pounds and is not yet spayed. A $150 spay sponsorship is available. She is vaccinated, and she is currently working on putting on weight.

Training & Support

Nala already knows “sit.” She walks calmly and is exceptionally easy to manage on leash. She can be a little snatchy with treats and would benefit from continued gentle training and confidence-building exercises.
