Meet Lizzie! This sweet 3-year-old pit mix, weighing in at about 70 pounds, is looking for her forever home. Lizzie was found wandering in a Mississippi apartment complex after her previous owner was evicted. She's currently being fostered down south but dreams of a freedom ride up to Pennsylvania to meet her potential new family. Lizzie is a super friendly girl who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. She's already a pro with using a doggie door, and with a little patience, she'll master traditional house training in no time.

Ongoing Health

Lizzie tested positive for heartworm when she was rescued. She has successfully completed treatment and is now in good health! She is also up to date on her shots and is spayed.

Training & Support

Lizzie is familiar with using a doggie door and may need some guidance and patience to adapt to a more traditional house training routine.
