Meet Ginger Dominique! This sweet, 25-pound Basenji mix, with a suspected dash of MinPin and Chihuahua, was born around October 24, 2025. Ginger Dominique is a truly special pup with a heart full of gentleness and an endless capacity for love. She's a social butterfly who thrives on being involved in all the fun and cherishes every moment of affection. Her foster family is continually amazed by her natural grace and understanding around children, as if she intuitively knows how to be there for them. There was a heartwarming moment when a toddler was frustrated with a toy, and Ginger rushed to offer quiet reassurance with gentle kisses – a testament to her kind spirit.

Once she feels secure, Ginger Dominique blossoms into an even more affectionate companion. She forms deep bonds and loves nothing more than to be close to her people, happily snuggling up for quiet companionship. She gets along famously with cats and other dogs, making her a versatile addition to many households. Ginger is a perfect leash walker, and while her puppy curiosity keeps her engaged, she's always wonderfully well-mannered. Her sweet nature, playful curiosity, and engaging personality make her an ideal candidate for a home with children and other pets. Transporation

Ginger Dominique is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
