Russo is the sweetest of sweethearts, a lover who enjoys giving hugs and is amazing on the leash. He was rescued as a puppy wandering the streets of Santa Maria del Vale, Jalisco, MX when he was around 3 months old. He's an attentive and intelligent Border Collie mix with a very mild and calm personality. As of October 2025, he is around one and a half years old and weighs in at 48 pounds. Russo enjoys riding in the car and will love to be included in your adventures, whether it's hiking, going to the beach, or just out on a road trip.

Russo has a great range of possible new guardians, from a single person to a family with kids. He enjoys being included in adventures.
Ongoing Health
Russo is sterilized, fully vaccinated, up to date with his anti-parasite and anti-flea/tick meds, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and received a complete blood panel. He is microchipped.
Training & Support
Russo is house-trained and accustomed to living in a warm, loving environment. He enjoys sleeping in a warm bed, watching TV on the sofa, playing in the yard, and soaking up the sun.

Transportation
Russo is currently at The Thriving Dog ranch in Jalisco, Mexico. He will make the journey to the United States once he is matched. Transportation is included in the adoption fee. We coordinate all required documents, transportation, and an initial meet and greet. We fly out of Guadalajara International Airport (GDL) and Leon Bajio International Airport (BJX) when transporting from Mexico to the United States. We welcome the opportunity for adoptees to visit our dogs in Guadalajara, Mexico before adopting.
