Dolly Lolly is all wiggle-butt and sweetheart! This is a dog that will always welcome you home with adoring fan fare. Picture this: you walk through the door, she is standing tall on the couch with her front paws perched on the back, tail wagging, butt wiggling, sparkle in her eye, and ready for kisses. Her foster mama experiences this wonderful greeting every day and it's one of her favorite parts of the day. Dolly bonds deeply with her people, and once she trusts you, she'll be your faithful shadow, wanting nothing more than to be near you.
Dolly Lolly is a petite pittie mix with the cutest bubble lip underbite, approximately 1 year old and weighing 50 lbs. She's a little thing and barely takes up a couch cushion, which makes her even better for snuggling! While Dolly waits for her adoption day, she's enjoying home life and practicing good doggie manners in a loving foster home. She's a cuddle bug who loves a good brushing session and will even fall asleep during a puppy massage. She also has a playful streak and is goofy and lighthearted. She enjoys playing with her toys and gets excited for her monthly Bark Box deliveries! Dolly is both home and crate trained and is affectionate with everyone she meets. On leash, she needs a little confidence at first in new environments, but with patience, she opens up and enjoys her walks.
Ideal Home
Dolly thrives when she's the apple of your eye. A home where she can be your one-and-only dog would be her dream come true. She can be unsure with other dogs but will co-exist and grow into friendliness with a calm, confident canine companion who respects her boundaries and gives her time to settle in. However, she would love to be an only pet and promises to shower you with all the love of many pets. Dolly will need a cat-free home, as her excitement around cats suggests she would likely chase them.

Training & Support
Dolly is home and crate trained. She enjoys playing with toys and can be a little cheeky with shoes, but she never chews them. Her adopter should be patient and help her build confidence, especially in new environments.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Dolly is currently in Texas. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
