Gutherie

Gutherie is a spirited little guy who marches to the beat of his own drum! He's not a fan of being picked up and might give you a vocal performance if you try, but he does allow pets on his terms. Gutherie thinks he's a big herding dog and enjoys keeping other dogs in line, especially during meal times. He loves his canine companions and doesn't mind cats. While we don't know for sure, he's not a fan of kids and seems to prefer a less human-centric approach to life. He's not a biter, though he did have one incident. Gutherie's ideal day involves zooming around the house like a tiny, energetic bird. He does go outside to do his business, but a secure, fenced yard is a must to keep this little escape artist from exploring the neighborhood!

Ideal Home

Gutherie would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, perhaps even a cement wall like a castle to keep him safe and sound. He's not a fan of kids, so a quieter adult-only home would be best.

Ongoing Health

Gutherie has tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently being treated for it. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Gutherie is not house-trained, but he does go outside. He will need a patient owner who can provide a secure environment and understand his unique personality.
