Meet Channel, an 8-month-old, 43.6 lb bundle of joy with a heart full of love to give! Channel's journey began in difficult circumstances, but she's a survivor with a spirit as bright as her name. Despite a tough start, she's blossomed into a playful and affectionate girl who adores attention and gentle pets. She's a social butterfly who gets along well with cats, dogs, men, and women. While she can be a little cautious around new faces, her true loving personality shines through once she feels secure. Channel can also be a bit anxious when left alone, so she'll thrive with a family who can offer patience, reassurance, and plenty of companionship as she continues to build her confidence. Channel deserves a family that will provide the safety, stability, and unconditional love she's always dreamed of.
Ideal Home
Channel would do best in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of rescued animals. Experience with dog behavior and training is a plus, or a willingness to hire a trainer for this intelligent girl. High tolerance and patience are essential for this sweet pup.
Ongoing Health
Channel has undergone a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter surgery, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. She also has a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Channel is not house-trained and will require patience and consistency in this area. She can be nervous when left alone, so ongoing support and reassurance will be key to her adjustment.

Transporation
Channel is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Our transportation process includes door-to-door delivery, with scheduled trips 3-4 times per year. We use a contracted transport company that travels from Montana to Mexico to pick up adopted pets. Each pet is provided with all necessary legal documents, including a transport contract and a USDA Health Certificate. For US adoptions, pets are escorted across the border into Texas. For Canadian adoptions, they are delivered to the nearest US-Canada border. We create a private Facebook Messenger group for adopters and the transport team to provide real-time updates, including photos and videos of your pet's journey, feeding and walking schedules, and estimated arrival times. The transport fee is a one-time charge of $400 USD.
