Iris is already crate trained and leash trained, and she gets along well with other dogs. She is described as being selective with cats and has a playful instinct, saying, "if it runs, chase it." Iris's journey to rescue was a tough one, as she arrived starved and pregnant after being abandoned at a grocery store. She's certainly made up for lost meals since then! Her ideal home would be with individuals or families who enjoy cuddling with their furry companion and have a generous approach to treat-giving. She would likely be a wonderful addition to a home with children of most ages, particularly those who are willing to share their snacks. Iris is approximately 3-4 years old, in good health, and has been fully vetted.
