Aspen Lane is a 2-year-old, 33-pound female Husky mix with a heart full of hope and a story of survival. She endured a difficult past on the streets of Texas, facing hunger and loneliness before being taken to a high-kill shelter. For a month, she waited, watching other dogs leave while her own time inched closer to a grim fate. Thankfully, just as her life was about to be cut short, she was rescued and brought to safety. Her foster parent describes her as nothing short of wonderful – sweet, grateful, gentle, and full of a zest for life that she almost didn't get to experience. Aspen is heartworm negative and is now searching for the loving home she truly deserves.
