About Raven

Meet Raven - The Sweet Adventurer with a Well-Mannered Heart

Raven is the kind of dog who makes a big impression in the best way. She is calm, gentle, confident, and social, with a sweet nature and a love for being part of whatever her people are doing. Whether she is heading out for an adventure or relaxing at home, Raven carries herself with a steady, happy confidence that makes her easy to love.

This beautiful girl is people-oriented, food motivated, and loves attention. She is immediately friendly when meeting new people and greets them with a happy but polite attitude. Raven is not shy about wanting love from everyone she meets, and her social, confident personality makes her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys including their dog in everyday life.

Raven Loves:

-Walks -Hiking adventures -Car rides -Chewing bones -Cuddling -Training sessions -Treat puzzles and enrichment games -Meeting new people -Public outings -Exploring new places -Spending time with her people

Raven's Favorite Thing:

Her people. Raven loves attention and enjoys being included in the action. Whether she is out on a walk, riding along in the car, or relaxing at home, she is happiest when she gets to be near the people she loves.

A Loving Dog Who Needs Understanding:

Raven is a strong, confident girl who would do best with someone who can be a calm, consistent leader for her. She weighs about 92 pounds and is very strong, so she will need an adopter who can physically handle her size and strength, especially on leash.

Raven does pull on leash and can pull hard, so continued leash work will be important. She knows her commands well, including sit, down, come, and crate, and she responds well to structure, consistency, and clear expectations. She is also food motivated, which makes training sessions both fun and rewarding.

Raven has been known to be dog selective, but she does currently live with another dog, Kion, in her foster home and co-exists well with him. She does best with dogs who are respectful, calm, and not overly playful. Raven would likely be happiest with dog friends who enjoy peacefully co-existing rather than rough play or constant interaction. With the right match and proper introductions, she can do well, but she appreciates dogs who respect her boundaries.
