Alice is a sweet, happy, and friendly Shepherd Mix weighing around 45 lbs, with an estimated birthdate of December 1, 2011. She's up-to-date on her shots and is already spayed. Alice came to us after being hit by a car, which resulted in a fractured pelvis and the development of megacolon. This condition means her large intestine has a permanently increased diameter, affecting its function and leading to chronic constipation. While we've made significant progress in managing her health, she requires ongoing medication and care to lead a healthy, long life. Alice is currently on a daily stool softener and Cisapride to help with her intestinal motility. She is not yet house-trained, and her stools are often watery and grey, coming out in small amounts.
Ideal Home
Alice would thrive in a home that can provide her with consistent care and medication.
