Meet Trooper!

Happy Tuesday from Trooper! This handsome boy is looking for his forever best friend. Trooper is a playful and loving Shepherd/American Blue Heeler mix with striking black and tan coloring. He has a heart of gold and loves to play with his doggy pals or just relax nearby. Trooper enjoys car rides and is a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly. He's great in his crate for sleeping and naps, has moved past the nipping stage, and doesn't get into much mischief. With a consistent schedule, his house training is going well. Trooper knows his name, walks nicely on a leash, and is adaptable to the behavior of other dogs. He has fully recovered from a broken left back leg and you'd never know he had it!

Ongoing Health

Trooper has fully recovered from a broken left back leg. He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Trooper is past the nipping stage and doesn't get into much mischief. His house training is going pretty good when he's kept on a schedule. He knows his name and walks pretty good on a leash.

• All dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.
• Our process includes reviewing policies and adoption radius on our website, submitting an application for review and approval, vet record and reference checks, and a home check and meeting with the foster family.
• Adoption fees are payable via check or cash.
