Sugar - No Longer Accepting Applications

Sugar is a bundle of joy with a personality as sweet as her name! This playful Terrier mix, born on September 23, 2024, absolutely adores toys and approaches life with curiosity. Sugar will need a patient adopter, as she takes some time to warm up to new people. However, once she trusts you, she transforms into the most cuddly companion, showering you with requests for belly rubs! She also has a knack for making friends with other dogs and loves to romp and play with them during her playdates.

Ideal Home

Sugar dreams of a home with a fenced yard where she can safely zoom around to her heart's content. A confident canine sibling would be a great asset, helping her learn the ropes and feel more secure. Ideally, her person would be home for most of the day, as she thrives with consistent companionship. Sugar can be nervous around young children, but she may do well in a home with older, calmer kids aged 10 and up.

Ongoing Health

Sugar is working on her potty training and is doing well with a routine that includes regular opportunities to go outside. She is happy to use a potty pad or go outdoors.

Training & Support

Patience and dedication will be key to helping Sugar master her potty training skills. With a consistent routine and regular potty breaks, she has already made excellent progress.

• All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION.
• Once your application passes our initial screening, we will connect you with the foster to arrange a meet-and-greet if it seems like a good match.
• We select the right applicant for each animal based on their specific needs.
• If you and an animal are not a good match, we can help you find another pet or keep your approved application on file for six months.

Transportation

Sugar is located in the Omaha, NE area. Adoptions must be completed in person by the adoptive family in the Omaha, NE area. We do not offer shipping or delivery services.
