Phoebe is a sweet and loving 2.5-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix, weighing around 60 lbs. She's a bundle of energy with a charming personality, capable of both adventurous play and cozy relaxation. Phoebe enjoys a good game of tug-of-war, lounging in the sun, swimming, and long runs. She especially loves sticks and her toys! She has undergone extensive training, including an hour of exercise daily, and responds well to commands. Phoebe is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is even trained to run alongside her owner on skates or a bicycle, demonstrating impressive focus and responsiveness to direction. She's also comfortable using a pet backpack for carrying essentials.
Ideal Home
Phoebe would thrive in a home with experienced owners who enjoy an active lifestyle and appreciate the challenges and rewards of training a rescued dog. She needs a household with no children or other dogs, and ideally, owners who are experienced with the Pitbull breed. A fenced backyard is a must, and her ideal family will have an open mind and deep understanding of the needs of rescued animals, coupled with patience and a strong commitment to her continued education and well-being.
Ongoing Health
Phoebe is up-to-date on all her health protocols, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She is also on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative.
Training & Support
Phoebe has received professional training and is house-trained and kennel-trained. She is disciplined and follows commands well. Her trainers will provide ongoing support and advice to her new family.

Transportation
Phoebe is currently being fostered in Leominster, Massachusetts, and is ready to travel. Transportation services are available to other cities, with a transport fee of $400.00, which will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
