Sherman

Sherman is one of four brave beagles looking for a second chance at happiness. He's approximately 2 years old and has a whole world of new experiences waiting for him! Sherman and his friends have had a tough start, having spent most of their lives in cages. This means they're understandably fearful of new things and sounds, making them extreme flight risks. They need patient and understanding people to help them discover the simple joys of being a dog, like exploring new smells and building confidence. Our mission is to find the absolute best forever homes for these sweet souls, and placement won't be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ideal Home

A securely fenced yard is a must for Sherman's safety. He would do best in a home with mature, well-behaved children over 10 years old, and he'd thrive with a confident, dog-friendly canine sibling to show him the ropes. A patient and experienced owner who understands this will be a long journey is essential.

Ongoing Health

Sherman is a healthy boy ready for a new life.

Training & Support

Expect many potty accidents for several months as Sherman learns. You might need to set up an indoor enclosure for him initially, which could be for a significant period. He may also show a lack of affection at first as he learns that human touch is safe and enjoyable.
