Bosco

Meet Bosco! He's a handsome 4-year-old, 60lb Border Collie/Akita mix with a heart full of love to give. Bosco journeyed to us from California, eager to find his perfect match. He's been a wonderfully sweet and affectionate boy, greeting everyone he meets with a wagging tail. Bosco is a smart cookie who adores treats, making training sessions a joy. He’s a happy, active dog who would thrive with a family ready for adventures, plenty of cuddles, and who will continue his basic training to help him reach his full potential. Bosco loves exploring the outdoors and would make an excellent companion for hikes and adventures!

Ideal Home

Bosco would do best in an active home that can keep him engaged with plenty of walks and outdoor fun. He would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, as he has been known to be an escape artist and should not be left unattended outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Bosco is up-to-date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Bosco is a smart boy who responds well to treats, making him a joy to train. While he's been friendly with some dogs, particularly calmer females, he can become a bit nervous around high-energy or dominant males. He'll benefit from a patient home that can help him decompress and continue to learn how to interact with other dogs.
