About ZIGGY

Meet Ziggy – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making! Ziggy is a 3-year-old pup with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a whole lot of love to give. Though he can be a bit shy and reserved when meeting new people, he’s making great progress and learning that strangers aren’t so scary after all. He may let out a few barks at first, but with a little time and patience, Ziggy starts to show his sweet, affectionate side. This guy loves being outdoors — whether he’s going for walks, running full speed in the yard, or rolling in the dirt (his favorite pastime!), Ziggy is happiest when he’s outside and on the move. He’s full of energy and especially loves playing with balls. Give him a toy and he’s in heaven! Ziggy is a strong boy with classic “puppy manners” — he’s still learning not to chew on everything in sight and doesn’t quite realize how powerful he is. He’s very curious about cats and shouldn’t be left unsupervised with them, just to be safe. While he gets along with some female dogs, Ziggy may do best as the only pet in the home so he can soak up all the attention. He’s a snuggler at heart and loves being close to his people once he trusts them. This handsome guy is both house-trained and crate-trained, which makes him a great companion for a consistent home environment. He loves attention and snuggles once he's comfortable, but he does struggle with separation anxiety and will need a home that can provide support, structure, and patience while he continues to build confidence when alone. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog who’s ready for adventure (and a little training), Ziggy might be your perfect match. He’s ready for his forever home — could it be yours?

Ideal Home

A home without small children would be ideal due to Ziggy's strength and puppy manners. He is very curious about cats and shouldn't be left unsupervised with them. Ziggy may do best as the only pet in the home to receive all the attention. A consistent home environment with support, structure, and patience for his separation anxiety is crucial.
