Rocky

Rocky is a happy, goofy, energetic, gentle, and loving Schnauzer/Terrier mix who is ready to find his forever home! At around 1 year old and weighing 35 lbs, he's the perfect size for snuggles on the couch, but he also loves a good boisterous play session. Rocky is a master of squeaky toys, often tossing them in the air with glee! He’s done well in his foster home, showing no accidents with regular potty breaks and is comfortable in his crate overnight and when left alone. He is great with adults, kids, and smaller dogs.

Ideal Home

Rocky would do best in a home that can provide slow, supervised introductions to larger dogs, as he has been fearful of them in the past. Due to a strong prey drive, he should not go to a home with chickens, pet rodents, or other small prey animals. It is unknown how he would do with cats.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. His adoption fee includes his microchip, spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations (Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies), heartworm preventive, flea/tick preventive, and deworming.

Training & Support

Rocky knows some basic commands and is a quick learner, but he would benefit from ongoing leash training and socialization, perhaps in an obedience class.
