Nova

Nova is a VERY sweet pit mix who loves to cuddle and wiggle her butt with joy! She enjoys scratches, belly rubs, and sunbathing on nice days. Rolling in the grass is a daily must for her, and she tolerates baths and car rides like a champ. Nova gets along with most other dogs and will even play with them in the yard. However, she does have a prey drive for smaller animals, so she'll need a home without cats or tiny dogs. She's fantastic with people and children, and she knows how to sit, taking treats gently. While quiet with her foster family, Nova can be a bit vocal with "gremlin howls" in public, and she's very enthusiastic about meeting new people – be prepared for her to greet you with a happy wiggle if you're sitting on the ground! Nova had a tough start in life, being used for breeding and passed through several homes, but she's been in foster care for a while and is now house and crate trained.

Ideal Home

Nova would do best in a home without cats or small dogs due to her prey drive. She's great with people and kids!

Ongoing Health

Nova requires Apoquel medication for her allergies, which costs approximately $100 per month at her current vet.

Training & Support

Nova is house and crate trained. She knows how to sit and is happy to take treats. Be aware that she can be very enthusiastic when meeting new people in public.
