Toaster

Toaster is a 2.5-year-old, neutered male dog with a zest for life! He may move a little differently due to a past spinal injury, but his spirit is absolutely infectious. He's gained strength and coordination during his time with us and can even navigate short staircases. Toaster loves to play and sometimes gets a little too enthusiastic with his mouth, but he's learning that humans don't enjoy being gently "mouthed" like other dogs might. He's heartworm negative and has no other known medical concerns besides his unique gait.

Ideal Home

Toaster would do best in a home with older children who can understand his unique movements and avoid accidental tumbles. He hasn't met cats yet, but given his energetic nature, a home without them might be ideal.

Training & Support

Toaster is expected to pick up housetraining quickly as he's already tidy in his kennel. He's also surprisingly mellow on a leash. He is still learning how to interact with humans without mouthing them, which is something his new family will want to continue to work on.
