CASSIS

Cassis is a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who will celebrate her first birthday on May 9, 2026. She came to us with her sister, having lived her whole life as a backyard dog. Cassis had never been to a vet, received vaccinations, or even worn a collar and leash. The outside world was completely new and frightening to her. While she's still a bit timid, Cassis is much more outgoing than her sister and is eager for pets and scratches. She has the waggiest tail and a huge smile that will melt your heart! Cassis is a sweet girl who desperately wants to be friends, but she will need time and patience to learn how to be a dog and navigate the world.

Ideal Home

A home that understands Cassis will need time and patience to adjust to new experiences. She seems to do well with other dogs once she feels safe.

Ongoing Health

Cassis is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is up-to-date on all her veterinary care.

Training & Support

Cassis will need guidance and positive reinforcement to learn how to be a dog. She is eager to please and will benefit from a patient and loving approach.
