Meet Shelly!
Shelly is a spayed, 1-year-old female Staffie mix who currently weighs around 60lbs. This adorable ball of energy is looking for an adventure buddy and a human to love! Shelly is always up for a hike or long walk and would probably be a great running partner. Once she's burned off that puppy energy, she's ready to snuggle and get all the attention and belly rubs. She lived with 2 male mastiffs and did great, but she can be selective with female pups. While she is a goofy girl working on her basic manners, she does learn quickly. She knows "sit" and loves to give her paw for treats! Shelly is house-trained, letting you know when she has to go by tapping the door with her paw. She does well in a kennel too! Shelly is ready to win your heart!
Ideal Home
Shelly would love an adventure buddy to go on hikes or long walks with. She would likely do well as a running partner. She would do best as the only dog in the home, as she can be selective with female dogs. Older, dog-savvy children would be advised due to her excitement around people.

Shelly is spayed and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Shelly is working on her basic manners but is a quick learner. She knows "sit" and "paw." She is house-trained and signals when she needs to go outside by tapping the door with her paw. She also does well in a kennel.

Transporation
Shelly is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and she will be on the next available transport once approved.
