Athena is a sweet and gentle girl who arrived from the Humane Society of Yuma and is now patiently waiting for her forever home. She came to us with her friend Constantine. While they don’t need to be adopted together, they make a wonderful pair for anyone hoping to bring home two dogs who already know and comfort each other. Athena can be a little reserved when you first meet her, but she warms up with kindness, soft voices, and a little time to feel safe. Once she’s comfortable, her loving personality shines through and she’s happy to be close to her people and enjoy quiet affection. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion with a sweet soul, Athena might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
