Duncan

Meet Duncan, a sweet and playful 1-year-old boy who weighs about 19 lbs! He's a charming mix with a lot of Chihuahua in him, and he absolutely adores squeaky toys, petting, and lots of attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved companion who seems to be pretty good with house training and walks well on a leash, though he could use a little more training to perfect his leash manners. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is eager to be part of a loving family.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home without children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms upon rescue and has been treated. We typically find that dogs test negative within 4 to 6 months after treatment.

Training & Support

Duncan is generally well-behaved and pretty house-trained, but he would benefit from some additional leash training.
