Ruthine is heartworm positive. However, there is a less strenuous treatment available that is completely free, so please don't let this deter you from considering her. Her adoption fee covers all her up-to-date shots, spaying, microchip, and rabies vaccination.

Ruthine is not yet house-trained, so she will need a patient and dedicated adopter to help her learn.
