Jerry is a playful, loving, and friendly Bully breed blend who is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs 53lbs. He has been at the shelter for almost a year and is experiencing kennel stress. He loves to run and play, and can sit and shake on command. Jerry has shown he does well with other dogs in playgroups and has done well with a 9-year-old volunteer. He has decent leash skills and would benefit from positive reinforcement training.

Ideal Home

Jerry would do well in a home with respectful children 9+. His compatibility with cats and other small animals is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Jerry is vaccinated, altered, and micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Jerry would benefit from a round of positive reinforcement training to brush up on his skills. Please keep in mind the 3-3-3 rule (3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn routines, 3 months to feel at home) and be patient with Jerry as he settles into his new life after a long shelter stay.
