Hey there, dog lovers! I'm Akessa, a 75-pound, 8-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix. I'm a graduate of the Pups 4 Parole training program, which means I'm house, kennel, and leash-trained! I'm looking for a forever family who will continue my training journey so I can be the bestest girl ever. My time in training taught me that not all dogs are bad; with proper introductions, I get along with other polite dogs. I also enjoy the playful energy of older children. I'm a loyal and playful companion who's always up for a challenge and eager to learn new tricks with a patient and loving family.

Ideal Home

I require a minimum 4-foot fence for my safety and security. I'm looking for a family committed to continuing my training.

Ongoing Health

I'm considered a special needs pup because I take a daily medication to help with overnight bladder control. My adoption fee is sponsored and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.

Training & Support

I'm house, kennel, and leash-trained thanks to the Pups 4 Parole program. I need continued training from my new family to help me be the bestest girl ever!

Transporation

I am located in Springfield, MO. We do adopt out of state with vet references and a video home check. Adopters are responsible for coming to get me and returning me if the adoption does not work out.
