Butterscotch is sweet as pie and a perfectly squatty, slightly chunky little potato with the most incredible wrinkles you've ever seen. She's about 3 years old, weighs around 55 lbs, and we believe she may be a Beagle/Lab mix. Butterscotch is a people dog through and through, opening up quickly with new friends and absolutely loving to be close to her humans. She's a big cuddler, always nearby, following her foster like a little shadow and sleeping by her head every night. Her calm, comforting presence makes her an easy companion, and she's all in when it comes to affection, especially belly rubs and booty scratches. Butterscotch also enjoys getting outside for fresh air, wandering in the backyard, soaking up the sunshine, and even taking dips in a dog pool. She enjoys occasional zoomies with other dogs before settling down. While not a toy enthusiast, she's content with a good chew stick. Just be aware, a squirrel might bring out her hunting instincts!
Ideal Home
Butterscotch would do well in either a house with a yard or an apartment, although she'd absolutely love having a backyard to explore. She would thrive in a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Butterscotch is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Butterscotch may need a little time to fully decompress after going home, as she took a couple of weeks to settle into her foster home. Once she settled, she became the sweetest little shadow dog, showing complete devotion to her person.

- Transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
- Before adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call.
- The adoption fee is $1000 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).
- A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
- Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
