This handsome senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix may be a bit reserved initially, needing a little time to warm up and feel secure. But oh, when he does, his incredibly sweet and gentle spirit truly blossoms! Buddy adores his canine companions and finds great joy in their company. He's a pro at indoor living, being both house-trained and crate-trained – in fact, his crate is his ultimate sanctuary, a safe haven he happily retreats to, even with the door ajar.

Ideal Home

Buddy would be happiest in a calm, low-key household where he can decompress at his own pace. A patient adopter who understands his need for adjustment time will be his greatest asset.
