Buckle

Buckle is a charming 6-month-old Hound mix, weighing in at 30 pounds. He was rescued with his brother from a rural area and has been in foster care since he was 5 weeks old, completing all his veterinary needs. Buckle is a mellow pup who enjoys playtime but isn't overly energetic. He's well on his way to being house-trained, already crate-trained and leash-trained. He's great with other dogs and has even been around children as young as 6. Based on his mother's size, Buckle is expected to reach a medium adult weight of around 35 pounds.

Ideal Home

Buckle would thrive in a home that can continue his house-training journey and provide him with gentle guidance. He has shown to be comfortable with children as young as 6.

Ongoing Health

Buckle is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is microchipped, heartworm negative, and currently on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Buckle is crate trained and leash trained, and is nearly house-trained, with ongoing efforts to perfect his potty habits outdoors.
