Amaya

Amaya is a 1-year-old, 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix who was rescued from a rural shelter that was at capacity. Thankfully, a wonderful foster opened their home to Amaya, saving her life and giving her a safe place to wait for her forever family. She has been a wonderful dog in her foster home and is sure to bring joy to her new family. Amaya is a sweet and gentle girl who has been great with children as young as 7. She also gets along well with cats and all the dogs she has met.

Ideal Home

Amaya has a laid-back personality and is not a high-energy dog. She enjoys walks and would likely thrive in a home that can provide her with regular, gentle exercise.

Ongoing Health

Amaya is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. She is microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Amaya is house trained and leash trained.
