These little bundle of joys make every day brighter!
Meet the MERRY litter - a group Lab/Hound mix puppies who were found as strays on the side of the road. Back in MARCH 2025! We included a group photo of the 10 pups when we originally found them on the side of the road. They were scared and hungry, but now they are all happy and healthy and ready to find their forever families!
CURRENT: Mojo Merry - a 1 yr old, who weighed 65 pounds (as of 10/31/25). These pups are super sweet and love getting attention. They will return the favor by smothering you in their puppy kisses. They love to play with their siblings, balls and dog toys. They will need families who are committed to their training, but we know that they will adapt to their forever homes quickly!
UPDATE: Mojo Merry - he is the strong and silent type. This boy does not know how precious he is. He can be a little shy initially but once he knows you are his bud, he warms up to you. Mojo is a shy, chill boy. He has been good with all his dog foster siblings and he is good with people. Mojo Merry was failed by humans in that he was dumped on a country highway with his litter mates. This boy survived but 3 of his litter mates perished on the side of the road. Despite his rough beginnings, we're happy to report that Mojo has continued to thrive! (Dare we say, got his "mojo" back?!)
Since Mojo primarily lived outdoors, his fosters have been helping him adjust to posh "indoor" living etiquette. Because of their hard work, Mojo has now graduated to being completely potty trained! He even loves to relax in his crate! Once he builds his self confidence and masters leashing, this boy will be unstoppable! He can't wait to show how wonderful he is to his new family, so let Mojo become a member of your Mojo Dojo Casa House today!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.
Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our shelterless rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
