Meet Jackson, a charming 5-year-old, 75 lb Labrador mix with a heart full of love to give! He was rescued from a small rural shelter in Oklahoma and is now ready to find his forever family. Jackson is a goofy, affectionate boy who just wants to be by your side. He thrives with an active individual or family who can help him channel his playful energy. Once he's had his exercise, he's a mellow companion who loves to relax with his people. Daily walks, runs, or hikes would be perfect for this energetic pup.

Ideal Home

Jackson would love an active home ready for adventures! Due to his strength and affection, he may be a little too much for very small children. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well with a playful dog of similar size. However, he is also very people-oriented and could be a wonderful only dog in the right active home.

Ongoing Health

Jackson is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Jackson is crate-trained and keeps a clean kennel when boarding. He would benefit from using an Easy Walker type harness and leash. He's a great traveler and rides very well in the car.
