Cherry Pie

Hi there! My name is Cherry Pie, and I am so excited to meet you! I am grateful to have ended up in my foster home, but I am eager to find my furever home! I am happiest with a bone to chew on and a cozy blanket on the couch. I also enjoy running around the yard and sniffing all the good smells. As much as I love to run in the creek, the hose and bath time are not so enjoyable. But I'll sit still to be brushed, as long as plenty of treats are involved!

I enjoy playing with other dogs. I do a great job of taking turns chasing and being chased. I would love to play with my foster family's kitty, but she just boops my nose. I guess I'll just keep trying to give her kisses!

Ideal Home

A home with a yard to run and play in, and maybe even a creek to explore! I love to play with other dogs and am curious about cats.

Ongoing Health

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. If over 6 months of age, they are also heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

I know how to sit and am learning to stay until released. I'll sleep all night in my crate, but do occasionally remind you I'm there with a few barks and cries. Telling me how pretty I am will help me settle back down. Giving kisses and getting pets are my favorite pastimes, and belly rubs are the best! I'll learn just about anything if treats or food are available.

Transportation

We adopt within a 2-hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
