Ruff - Happy Dog Needs Happy Home - Available to foster or adopt

Meet Ruff! Ruff is a young adult dog with a large build and an even larger heart. He's absolutely adorable, both in looks and personality! Ruff is very sweet and enjoys cuddling up with his person after a good walk. He's also a big fan of toys and can often be found carrying his favorite plushie around, even on his adventures outdoors.

Ruff walks pretty well on a leash for his size, but he does tend to pull a bit at first. He's already mastered "sit" and is clearly eager to learn more, showing his smart and playful nature. He's done well in his foster home with a 14-year-old, so he would likely be a good fit for older children who understand how to interact respectfully with a dog.

Ideal Home

Ruff would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of love and attention. Given his tendency to pull on the leash, an adopter who can manage his enthusiasm and work with him on leash manners would be ideal.

Ruff is a neutered and vaccinated adult dog. No specific health conditions are noted at this time.

Training & Support

Ruff knows how to "sit" and is eager to learn more commands. He will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training, especially regarding leash walking. His love for toys is a great asset for training and enrichment!
