Carl is a charming little guy with a big heart, ready to find his forever family! He's a recent arrival and we're still getting to know his unique personality, but we can tell he's going to be a wonderful companion. We're looking for a special home to help him settle in and blossom.
Ideal Home
We are seeking a foster-to-adopt home for Carl. This means you'll be providing a loving temporary home while we determine if it's a permanent match. The ideal home will be located within 80 miles of Adams, NY. It's important that you have existing pets (including cats) that are up-to-date on vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered. You'll need to be able to bring Carl back to our vet in Adams for any necessary continued care before adoption. Since Carl is new to us, we're unsure of his compatibility with children, dogs, or cats, so a meet-and-greet with all family members, including any resident dogs, is essential to ensure a good fit. A fenced yard is preferred but not required, as long as leash walking or tethering will be provided. A commitment to socializing and beginning training for a new pet is also a must.
Ongoing Health
Carl has received an initial vet check and is current on his vaccinations and flea/tick preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworm and has been neutered.
Training & Support
As Carl is a new arrival, we're still learning about his specific needs. We know that dedicated time for care, socialization, and starting training will be important for him to thrive.

Transportation
Carl is located in Adams, NY. Adoptions and foster-to-adopt placements are limited to an 80-mile radius of Adams, NY. Pets must be brought to our vet office in Adams for care until adoption is finalized. Animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
