Panda is a shy but sweet 2-year-old Pittie mix, weighing around 50 pounds. He's lovingly named for his black and white coat and his mellow demeanor. Panda enjoys the simple pleasures in life: chew toys, bones, and his daily walks. He thrives on routine and structure, blossoming in a home that offers predictability. Panda is a rescue dog who will reward his forever family with deep affection and gratitude. You can see him in action here: https://youtu.be/7fApvgPOfRI
Ideal Home
Panda would do best in a quiet, serene suburban or rural environment. He absolutely thrives in the company of other dogs, particularly playful females, and it's strongly recommended he be in a multi-dog household. While he previously did well with children aged 5 and up, they must be respectful and gentle with him. He is not recommended for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue dog with no specific ongoing health conditions mentioned. His adoption fee includes all vetting, which typically covers vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life in a stable home and benefits greatly from patience. He is leash-trained, making him an excellent companion for tandem walks. He is also a seasoned professional when it comes to car rides, settling well in the backseat. Panda is kennel-trained and house-trained. He will require a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and foster mom are available for guidance during this time.
