Cleo is a delightful 5-year-old, 17-18 lb, purebred French Bulldog who is as wiggly and fun as can be! She absolutely adores attention, snacks, and her favorite ball, happily following her people around and playing with her toys. Cleo is house-trained and generally does well with passive dogs. She's even undergone BOAS surgery to help her breathe better, giving her the chance for a longer, healthier life. Cleo had a tough start, being passed around and picked up as a stray after escaping her previous home. Fortunately, a kind Samaritan connected us with her owner, who happily surrendered Cleo as they could no longer manage her needs. She has a history of ear infections, and a mass in one ear was causing obstruction, ulceration, and bleeding. Cleo also had a benign mammary mass removed and was spayed. She was a trooper through all her procedures and is now doing wonderfully! While she will always have some breed-typical allergies, she is incredibly worth the extra love and care. We know Frenchies are special and require dedicated owners, but those who love them understand their unique charm, and Cleo is even small enough to be carried!
Ideal Home
Cleo would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention and playtime. While she's okay with some passive dogs, a home environment with a good fit for her personality would be best.
Ongoing Health
Cleo has undergone BOAS surgery for improved breathing, has been spayed, and had a benign mammary mass removed. She will likely always have some breed-typical allergies, requiring ongoing management.
