Stevie Knicks is a delightful 4-month-old Australian Cattle Dog (Heeler) mix, born in March 2026. Weighing 20lbs, she's expected to reach an adult weight of 45-60lbs. Stevie is an adventurous pup who adores playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with plenty of space for her to run and enjoy walks. She's independent yet loves to cuddle after playtime. Stevie is making great progress with her potty and crate training. Experience with herding breeds is a plus!
Ideal Home
Stevie would do best in a home with room to run and plenty of opportunities for walks. A home with experience in herding breeds would be a great fit.
Ongoing Health
Stevie is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She will be spayed when age-appropriate, and this procedure is covered by her adoption fee.
Training & Support
Stevie is working on her potty and crate training and is doing well. All adopters are required to commit to ongoing training and socialization.

- We conduct a vet reference check for all resident animals (dogs must be altered, up to date on DHPP/rabies and monthly preventatives; cats must be altered and up to date on rabies).
- A virtual home visit call is part of the process.
Transporation
Stevie is being fostered in Richmond, VA. Adopters must be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach to complete her spay/neuter at our approved clinics.
