Cesar is an 85-pound snuggler with a heart of gold! This gentle giant was born on February 10, 2021, and is a true people-pleaser who loves everyone, including men, women, and children. Cesar's energy level is moderate; he enjoys playtime but is not overly athletic and doesn't tend to be jumpy. His affection is boundless – he craves hugs and kisses, loves to be petted under his neck and on his shoulders, and will happily snuggle into your lap. Cesar is a smart and brave boy who has shown protectiveness towards his person. He finds comfort in music and loves his stuffed animals, especially during playtime like tug-of-war. Cesar is house-trained and crate-trained, and he doesn't exhibit storm or separation anxiety. He's also comfortable being independent at times. Cesar loves car rides and has a good appetite, especially for treats, but he would never snatch food, even from a child. He was accustomed to acreage, so leash walking is new but he is a good boy. Cesar's unique presence is warm and comforting, and he's been described as a big house dog who loves to be loved on. He is an owner-surrender and is currently living in boarding.

Ideal Home

Cesar would thrive in a home with a good fenced yard, a comfortable bed inside, and plenty of love to give. He does not like angry yelling or screaming.

Cesar has no known health concerns.

Training & Support

While Cesar is generally well-behaved, his experience with other dogs is limited. Proper introductions are a must to ensure his comfort when meeting new canine friends.
