Sadie is a sweet 3-year-old Terrier/Border Collie mix who is patiently waiting for her forever family. She recently spent two weeks in a foster home and proved to be the definition of "low-maintenance." Sadie is an independent soul who enjoys being near her people but doesn't need constant attention. She's a calm and observant dog, making her an excellent alert dog for her family. Sadie is also a "crate queen," a dream on walks, and highly food-motivated, making training a breeze.
Ideal Home
Sadie would do best in a home with children ages 5 and up who can respect her independent nature. She enjoys the company of other dogs, preferably males, and likes to be the "boss" of the pack at times. She'd thrive in a household that appreciates a calm, chill dog who offers loyalty without needing constant physical affection.
Ongoing Health
Sadie is heartworm positive. She is on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. A health certificate, exam, and fecal test will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Sadie has zero accidents in the home and is a leash pro. Her food motivation makes her highly trainable.
