Sandy

Hi, I'm Sandy! I'm a 34 year old Boxer/Lab mix with a heart full of love to give. My journey started out tough, pregnant and fending for myself in the fields. Some of my puppies didn't make it, but thankfully, a kind person reached out for help, and I was rescued with my remaining puppies. I was suffering from an ear infection and malnourishment, and my little ones were tiny and weak.

Despite our difficult start, we were all friendly and trusting. Thanks to the incredible care from my foster mom, Genny, and her family, I received the treatment I needed for infections and parasites, and my puppies were nursed back to health. We are all thriving now! I'm a sweet, gentle soul who adores people and attention. I love a good petting session and going on adventures. I'm also good with other dogs when introduced slowly, and I absolutely adore children, making me a perfect fit for a family. Now, I'm ready for my forever home where I can finally belong and be loved for the rest of my life.

Ideal Home

A loving family who will cherish me and include me in their adventures. I do well with other dogs with slow introductions and love children.

Ongoing Health

I was treated for an ear infection, parasites, and malnourishment. I am now healthy and thriving!

I am a gentle soul and eager to please. I enjoy attention and gentle guidance.

I am currently located at Desert Paws Sanctuary in Wittmann, Arizona, and can be transported to the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding communities.
