Meet Lady Rose - the Queen of Cuddles and Couch Time!

If you're looking for the world's sweetest, most smooshable, big-headed lovebug... you've found her! Lady is a 3-year-old mastiff mix with the softest soul and the cutest little white "shoes" you've ever seen. She's equal parts gentle couch potato and goofy best friend - basically a perfect mix of chill and charm. Lady LOVES her people and will happily lean right into you for snuggles, belly rubs, or just to remind you that she's there. She's the kind of dog who rolls over for pets, politely asks for more, and then melts into your lap (yes, she's convinced she's lap-sized). She has perfected the art of leaning her whole body into you just to make sure you know she loves you. She's not pushy about it either - she'll politely ask for affection, and when you stop, she gives you the saddest "but why did you stop petting me?" look until your heart melts and you start again. She loves to roll over for belly rubs, and if she could, she'd spend all day like that.

Ideal Home

Lady Rose would do amazing in a home or apartment with someone who wants a snuggle buddy, walking companion, and best friend all rolled into one big, sweet, smooshy face. She's affectionate, gentle, and ready to fill your life with calm, goofy joy.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is up-to-date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Lady Rose is a dream on leash, walking politely beside you and checking in often. She's super easy to handle and loves meeting new people, never having met a stranger. She is amazing with kids, knowing to be gentle and not jump. Lady Rose has "queen energy" with other dogs, being calm, polite, and a little aloof. She prefers to mind her own business unless another dog is too bouncy. She would do best with another laid-back, mellow dog, or she'd be perfectly happy being the only dog in the house. Lady Rose met a cat and was curious but cautious, giving a sniff or two and then politely backing off when the kitty didn't seem interested. She would do just fine sharing her castle with a feline friend who appreciates her calm energy. At home, Lady is low-energy and prefers napping next to you.

Transportation

Lady Rose is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A $74 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
