Robin is a handsome and lanky 1.5-year-old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix who is searching for his forever best friend and sidekick! Robin had a family who abandoned him, but thankfully, his sweet disposition and good looks helped him find a loving foster home. He's a pro at showering his people with love and kisses and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including a playful puppy, and he also adores children. He might do best with slightly older kids (over 8) as he can get a bit overly enthusiastic with his greetings, but with a little training, this smart pup will quickly learn polite manners. Robin is already crate and potty trained, and he's making great progress with leash training, though he might pull a bit when eager to meet new friends. He may need a little extra time and reassurance to feel fully settled due to his past abandonment, but he is incredibly worth the patience. Robin would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy runs, hikes, or doggy playdates to burn off his youthful energy. His ideal day involves a brisk walk, meeting new pals, and then snuggling up for a nap close to his favorite human.
