About Bubba Bear With The Toothless Smile

Bubba Bear is a roughly 3-year-old, 60 lb sweetheart who we believe is a Black Lab/Pittie mix. He has a uniquely charming face and a gentle, easygoing personality to match. Bubba is a calming presence, happy to quietly follow you from room to room and simply be near his favorite people. He's a bit of a slow burn when it comes to new environments, preferring to observe and think things through before fully settling in, but once he's comfortable, his affectionate side shines through with gentle head nudges and paw-offers.

Ideal Home

Bubba would thrive in a calm home that matches his mellow personality. He's more of a homebody and would be happiest in a residential neighborhood with a fenced yard where he can enjoy a predictable routine and a peaceful environment. Apartment living or life in the middle of a busy city probably wouldn't be his ideal match. He would do best with another calm, mellow dog who shares his laid-back outlook on life, rather than a dog looking for an energetic playmate. He has also done well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Bubba's teeth are a bit of a unique feature, and while this doesn't affect his love for treats, it's something to be aware of. His adoption fee includes all vetting, vaccinations, microchip, and a health certificate.

Training & Support

Bubba is crate trained, but he prefers not to be crated alone and settles better when he can see his family or canine friends nearby. He is also doing wonderfully with potty training and has learned to use a doggy door if needed.

Application Details:

  • Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
  • The adoption fee is $1000, which includes all vetting, transport, and a microchip.
