About Dollie

eet Dollie, a sweet senior beagle mix with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and a nose that never quits! At around 8 years old and 19 pounds, Dollie is embracing the good life after what appears to have been a difficult past. She is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate, which she happily considers her own safe little haven.Dollie is still polishing her house-training skills in her foster home, so she'll do best with a patient family willing to continue helping her succeed. Her ideal home would include a securely fenced yard where she can spend time following every interesting scent and soaking up the simple joys of being a dog. She enjoys canine companionship and would love a dog sibling to share her days with, though she would likely do just fine as your one-and-only with plenty of love and attention. Dollie has so much affection left to give, and she's ready to spend her golden years showing her forever family just how special second chances can be.Dollie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention, and recently had a dental. Her adoption fee is $200 and you can apply to adopt at mpravl.org.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
