Fernie

Meet Fernie! This 4-year-old mixed breed beauty had a rough start but has blossomed into a super sweet and loving companion. She was found tied to a tree, emaciated and unsure of the world, but with patience and love, she's gained weight and confidence, transforming into an absolute love bug! Once she gets to know you, Fernie will show off her wiggle butt and happily roll over for belly rubs. Life is good for this sweet girl!

Ideal Home

Fernie would do best with someone who is home more than not and would prefer a home with older children, as she has no experience with toddlers. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her love of running, but she also enjoys leash walks. While she loves other dogs, her play style can be a bit too enthusiastic for some. She is learning to temper her exuberance and would likely do best as the only dog in the home, with opportunities for supervised playdates with well-matched canine friends. She loves her people and wants to be the center of attention!
