Spock

Spock is a resilient and spirited two-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing around 10 lbs. He was rescued from a difficult backyard breeding situation in Puerto Rico, where he unfortunately sustained an injury to one of his back legs. While it didn't heal perfectly and he sometimes holds it up, it doesn't cause him pain. Spock has adapted beautifully and is still very much a dog who loves to run, play, and enjoy life to the fullest. His black and white coat is striking, and his personality is even more so – he's a small bundle of joy who loves his dog friends and spreads happiness wherever he goes.

Ideal Home

Spock enjoys the company of other dogs and is a playful companion.

Ongoing Health

Spock's back leg injury has healed but may cause him to hold it up sometimes. This does not appear to cause him pain. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all his vet care.

Training & Support

Spock is not yet house-trained.

Transportation

Spock is currently in Puerto Rico and is scheduled to fly to Boston on March 17. He will then be available for meet-and-greets at his foster home in Lyndeborough, MA.
