Gaia June is a sweet and gentle soul, a 3-year-old Lab/Pittie mix weighing 76 lbs, who embodies comfort and calm. Her soulful eyes and quiet affection can instantly melt away stress, making any house feel more peaceful. She's the kind of companion who makes your day better just by being near.

Ideal Home

Gaia would thrive in a home where she can offer her comforting presence. She has had positive experiences with children as young as 7 and would likely do well in a family setting. While she is dog-friendly, she prefers a peaceful coexistence and would do best with a calm, respectful canine companion rather than a boisterous playmate. She has also shown respect around cats and can be tested with your resident feline.

Ongoing Health

Gaia June is a rescue and her exact breed and age are a mystery. She is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also been heartworm tested and treated if needed.

Training & Support

Gaia is crate trained, has excellent house manners, and walks beautifully on leash. She is a medium-to-low energy dog who enjoys quiet time and gentle affection. While she bonds deeply with her people and can sometimes wait near doors when they leave, this is a gentle expression of her attachment.

Gaia is located in Houston, Texas. Wags offers nationwide transport with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
