Believed to be a Pittie/Staffy mix, Cassie is more than just a pretty face; she's a loving and affectionate companion looking for her forever family. She adores leaning into her people for pets and cherishes quiet moments of affection, making any house feel like a home.
Ideal Home
Cassie would thrive in a home that appreciates a loyal companion rather than a high-energy dog. She's looking for someone who wants a walking buddy, a couch companion, and a best friend for everyday moments. While apartment living could be an option with the right family, she would be happiest in a home with a yard for exploring and lounging. She prefers a peaceful household and would do best as the only dog or with a calm, laid-back male dog who respects personal space. Cassie is not a fit for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Cassie is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. She has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Cassie is a smart cookie who already knows "sit," "paw," and "lay down." She's eager to please and motivated by treats and praise. Her calm and patient nature makes her wonderful with children.

Cassie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
